The Swift M is a highly portable, cost-effective Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) data acquisition instrument designed for rapid corrosion screening, detection, and mapping. When paired with the Pipescan or Pipescan HD systems, it functions as a rugged, standalone solution for evaluating pipe runs and small-diameter vessels. Encased in a water-resistant IP65 magnesium alloy housing, it provides full data recording, real-time displays, and automated post-inspection reporting tools.

  • Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) Technology: Provides rapid, robust corrosion screening that measures the volume of missing magnetic material without requiring couplant or intensive surface preparation.
  • High Probability of Detection (PoD): Optimised for precision screening, detecting defects with diameters greater than 1 mm and greater than 20% wall loss when paired with high-resolution scanners like the Pipescan HD.
  • Adjustable Reporting Threshold: Allows operators to filter out irrelevant signals and focus purely on defects within the defined scope of work. Because the full dataset is recorded, this threshold can be dynamically adjusted post-inspection.
  • One-Click Automated Reporting: Simplifies data turnaround with an onboard defect analysis tool that allows technicians to generate compliance reports on the go and export them instantly via USB.
  • Ruggedized Hardware Architecture: Built into an IP65-sealed magnesium alloy casing with 3 mm (1/8 in) chemically strengthened glass to withstand harsh industrial field environments.
  • Optically Bonded Display: Features a premium 26.4 cm (10.4 in) multi-touchscreen coated with anti-reflective (AR) and oleophobic (anti-fingerprint) layers for clear visibility in any lighting condition.
  • Hot-Swappable Uptime: Equipped with two hot-swappable lithium-ion batteries that deliver 6 to 8 hours of continuous operation, effectively enabling a full day of field testing.
  • Modern Interface & Cloud Ready: Standardized with Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and three USB 2.0 ports alongside an internal 100 GB SSD for easy data handling.
