Advanced Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC) System

The Eddyfi Lyft is a high-performance, ruggedized Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC) and Pulsed Eddy Current Array (PECA) system designed specifically for Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) and Fireproofing (CUF) integrity management. It eliminates the massive costs of insulation removal by scanning directly through thick insulation, non-conductive coatings, and various weather jackets (aluminum, stainless steel, and galvanized steel). Driven by advanced automation algorithms, Lyft provides real-time C-scan imaging to accurately assess remaining wall thickness on in-service assets.

SmartPULSE™ Automation: Eliminates operator-dependent tuning by automatically optimizing pulser and receiver settings (gain, duration, filters, and time gates) for reliable, repeatable wall thickness data.
Compensated Wall Thickness (CWT) Tool: A unique tool that overcomes the typical PEC limitation of undersizing small defects by isolating specific defect signatures in the A-scan signal.
Advanced Analytics Suite: Utilizes Tau-scan™ and PermTool™ via the Lyft CPN desktop software to provide advanced signal curves, deepening data analysis and verification confidence.
SurfacePro 3D Integration: Works seamlessly with visualization software to automatically map, stitch, and overlay color-coded C-scan inspection maps into interactive 3D components.
Ruggedized Field Design: Built to an IP65 rating with a tough magnesium alloy casing that cools passively without external air exchange. Features a glove-friendly, optically bonded 10.4-inch touchscreen.
Modern Cloud Integration: Equipped with Windows-embedded capabilities allowing field technicians to utilize OneDrive file sharing, Zoom team collaboration, and automated reporting via the Eddyfi mobile app.

Weather Jacket Penetration: Inspecting through protective metal covers, including stainless steel up to 1.5 mm and aluminum/galvanized steel up to 1.0 mm.
Specialized Infrastructure: Deep-penetration testing for underwater/splash zone structures, storage tank annular plates (using an ultra-thin 4.8 mm titanium blade probe), and ship deck plates under protective tiles.
