The Krautkrämer RotoArray is a portable, manually operated phased array ultrasonic inspection device designed for rapid scanning of various materials and components. It combines the portability of a handheld probe with the performance of a full immersion C-scan system, providing fast and reliable A, B, and C-scan data. The device is lightweight and ergonomically designed, featuring torque-resistant grips that can be adjusted for both left- and right-handed operation. It is equipped with a unique direct-drive encoder, eliminating the need for belts, pulleys, or gears, ensuring backlash-free reliability. The RotoArray is compatible with multiple phased array flaw detection instruments and is supplied with a Service Station for simple repairs and configuration adjustments, such as tire replacement and air purging without the need for factory assistance.
