The Spyne™ is an adaptable, ultrafast surface Eddy Current Array (ECA) screening tool engineered to deliver maximum productivity and an exceptionally high Probability of Detection (PoD) for surface-breaking defects. Specifically designed to outclass traditional Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Dye Penetrant Testing (PT), it features dual-axis encoding (axial and gyroscopic circumferential) to map an asset’s full external surface in a single, recordable data file without requiring coating removal.

Dual-Axis Advanced Encoding: Combines a spring-loaded wheel for axial tracking with an internal gyroscopic circumferential encoder to accurately place defects in a single data file.
Through-Coating Scanning: Drastically reduces field hours by scanning through non-conductive paint and coatings up to 3 mm thick with automated liftoff correction.
High-Temperature Performance: Rated to operate continuously on hot process piping and emulsion lines at surface temperatures up to 150°C (302°F).
Automated Indication Tagging: Natively interacts with Magnifi® software to automatically highlight individual flaws or crack colonies with a visual threshold box (defaulting at 0.50 V).
Multi-Format Flexible Arrays: Integrates spring-loaded, interchangeable flexible PCB probes, coils, and topological configurations to inspect contours ranging from 150 mm (6 in) OD up to flat plates.
Instrument Ecosystem Compatibility: Connects directly into the 128-channel configurations of the portable Reddy or the modular Ectane 3 acquisition test units.
SIMS PRO ECA Data Alignment: Seamlessly exports data into SIMS PRO software to create 360-degree pipeline maps, log grind repair histories, and verify overall audit coverage.
